These are used to surround in-tank fuel pumps. This soaks up fuel and helps with cooling when the fuel level gets low and the pump becomes partially exposed. These also reduce pump noise and help protect the pump from vibration. A little dab of WD-40 or similar product helps these slide onto the pump easily during installation.

- A Ford style pump where this sleeve has been trimmed and used in addition to the factory rubber isolator to provide protection to the top of the pump.
